LSRII.2 is a 5-laser, 18-color instrument compatible with the 96-well plate sampler. Its current laser/detector configuration provides 6-Violet, 2-Blue, 4-Green, 3-UV, and 3-Red laser excited detection channels.
LSRII.UV is a 5-laser, 18-color instrument compatible with the 96-well plate sampler. It has recently been upgraded to support the latest violet and UV excited reagents. Its current laser/detector configuration provides 3-UV, 6-Violet, 2-Blue, 5-Yellow, and 3-Red laser excited detection channels.
The FACScan Analyzer was one of the first successful bench top flow cytometers. They just keep going and going. This one has been upgraded to 4-laser, 12-color configuration. Its current laser/detector configuration provides 2-Violet(co-linear with Red, 3-Red (co-linear with Violet), 3-Blue, and 4-Yellow laser excited detection channels.
The CyTOF2 Mass Cytometer uses metal-ion conjugates to label cells. Labeled cells are then ionized and mass measurements are used to differentiate functional and phenotypic markers. Sample preparation and processing is quite similar to that used in fluorescence-based cytometry with some quality control considerations unique to atomic mass spectroscopy. Please contact staff for further details.

Aida is a 4-laser, 14-color sorter. Its current laser/detector configuration provides 5-Violet, 2-Blue, 4-Yellow, and 3-Red laser excited detection channels.
Carmen is a 6 laser sorter capable of up to 6 way sorting. It is our fastest plate sorter; both 384- and 96- well plate sorts require only 1/3 the time needed on an Aria type sorter. It is the only instrument with an 457nm excitation laser, making it ideal for fluorochromes such as CFP or mTurquoise. It is available only with operator support.
Costello is a 5 laser, 18-color Aria Fusion sorter. Its current laser/detector configuration provides 3-UV, 6-Violet, 2-Blue, 4-Yellow, and 3-Red laser excited detection channels.

is the most automated sorter that the Facility has. It is simple to use, and has tray and idex sorting. It is the best sorter for 384 trays, It has 3 lasers (405 nm, 488nm, 561nm) but is a little limited in fluorochrome choices as these lasers are co-linear,

PICI is a 5 laser, 18 color Aria Fusion sorter that was bought with Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy funds. Its current laser/detector configuration provides 3-UV, 6-Violet, 2-Blue, 4-Yellow, and 3-Red laser excited detection channels.
is a simple two-laser (488 nm and 640 nm) sorter. It is easy to operate, and does fast tray sorting, as well as index sorting. It uses the same polypropylene sample tubes as Carmen.
