Stanford Shared FACS Facility has been providing flow cytometry instrumentation and support to the Stanford and surrounding communities for more than 25 years. Currently the facility offers researchers access to 10 sorters in various configurations, 5 analyzers, and one mass cytometer. In addition, experienced staff offer instrument training, as well as consultation for both experimental design and data analysis.

Our main facility is housed in the Beckman Center for Molecular and Genetic Medicine.
Available instrumentation include 8 sorters with a variety of configurations, 4 analyzers, and 1 mass cytometer. Instrument training, staff-assisted instrument operation, and consultation services are all available at the main facility. Normal operational hours are Monday 8-5, Tuesday-Friday 8-7. Experienced operators can request extended after hours access.
SSFF is now providing cytometry support for reseachers at the Stanford School of Medicine Innovation and Technology Center at Porter Drive, and for labs at 1651 Page Mill. This satellite campus is housed in the basement of 1651 Page Mill Road within the Human Immune Monitoring Center (HIMC) laboratories. Lab access is via Room 0355 - please note that this building and HIMC both require keycard access.
One sorter and one analyzer are currently available for researchers. In addition, operator support is offered at this location for staff-assisted instrument use. Instruments are currently available Mon - Fri from 10-5. Extended operation hours are available for experienced users.
